Ten speakers to watch at SiGMA South Asia 2025

SiGMA South Asia 2025 sets its inaugural show in Colombo, a one-stop shop for operators, affiliates, suppliers, and tech enthusiasts to tap into the region’s lucrative gaming showcase, benefit from new business, and shake hands with the people that matter. Taking place from 30 November to 02 December 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, at the Lumina Ballroom, SiGMA South Asia gathers an extensive roster of industry experts for three days of insight, networking, and innovation. While the conference agenda begins on 01 December and continues through 02 December, 30 November serves as a day of pre-event activities to set the stage. Attendees will enjoy a robust programme of keynotes, panels, awards, and exclusive networking opportunities, all within the vibrant cultural and culinary backdrop of Colombo.

These speakers represent a selection of the total lineup, demonstrative of the depth and breadth of expertise available to delegates. The summit is designed to catalyse collaboration and opportunity across South Asia’s emerging digital economy, reflecting the region’s growing significance in global iGaming and tech industries.

1. At 12:45 PM, Joe Pisano, CEO of JADE Entertainment and Gaming, speaks on “No Face, No Trace: AI, Data and the Player Profile,” confronting the challenges of AI-driven personalisation amid evolving data privacy laws. Joe points to a future where players might interact seamlessly within blockchain-powered Web3 casino environments, stating, “Imagine entering a casino city and playing live slots in a Web3 environment.”

2. Raj Kapoor, Founder of the India Blockchain Alliance, will deliver the keynote “Tokenize Me!” from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM. Raj is a prominent blockchain advocate dedicated to educating and expanding blockchain’s reach across India, highlighting how tokenization transforms static assets into liquid markets.

3. Adam Fonsica, Co-Founder & COO of Random State, will deliver a keynote from 2:40 PM to 2:55 PM titled “Modernizing Luck,” detailing the transformation of traditional gambling into online platforms. Adam brings deep experience in digital gaming development and marketing innovation.

4. From 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM, Jeevan Gnanam, Founder of Vector AI, will explore the role of AI agents in organisational automation and decision-making enhancement. Jeevan is a leading figure in AI entrepreneurship, focusing on intelligent systems that foster innovation.

5. A fireside chat on day 1 featuring Evan Luthra, Founding Partner at KOL Capital, from 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM. Evan is an entrepreneur and investor renowned for his work in the blockchain and entertainment sectors, sharing insights on emerging Web3 applications.

6. Channa De Silva, CEO of LankaPay, will join the panel discussion on “Payments Orchestration and The Future of Digital Transactions” from 3:05 PM to 3:35 PM. He is an award-winning business leader with over 30 years of experience in technology-driven businesses, having held senior roles in multinational companies across the USA, Singapore, and Sri Lanka. Channa has been instrumental in advancing Sri Lanka’s digital payment systems and driving financial inclusion.

7. At 2:20 PM, Kapil Dhiman, Co-Founder and CEO of Quranium, takes the stage with his keynote “Be Uncrackable: The Quantum Defense of Blockchain.” Kapil, a specialist in cryptographic innovation, addresses the pressing challenge of protecting blockchain networks against evolving quantum computing threats. He shares, “South Asia is where scale meets possibility. SiGMA AIBC turns that into momentum.”

8. H.E. Reuben Gauci, Malta’s High Commissioner to India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Ambassador to Nepal, will open SiGMA South Asia 2025 during the inaugural ceremony on 1 December from 11:40 to 12:00. A seasoned diplomat with extensive experience since joining Malta’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007, Reuben has played a vital role in fostering political and economic relations across South Asia while also advancing Malta’s international interests from his base in New Delhi.

9. Mahesha Amarasuriya, Director at MasterCard, will contribute to the panel on payments orchestration, emphasising the transformative impact of this technology. With a wealth of knowledge in financial services and payments solutions, Mahesha states, “Payments orchestration is redefining the digital economy bringing efficiency, security and scalability to an increasingly complex landscape.”

10. Day 2 at 11:05 AM, Sanali Kaushalya, Country Director and Ambassador for Women in Tech Sri Lanka, will address “Inclusive Tech for Responsible Growth.” Sanali is a passionate advocate for women in STEM, promoting ethical innovation that drives fintech growth.With expert panels and keynotes scheduled over two days, it’s a must-see schedule for anyone keen to stay ahead in South Asia’s rapidly evolving iGaming and tech markets.
